Evidencia de Validez para el Trastorno de Ansiedad Generalizada de 7 Ítems (GAD-7)

Introducción: Brasil es el país más ansioso del mundo, con alrededor del 9.3% de la población con ansiedad. Estos datos indican la necesidad de pruebas psicológicas. Objetivo: El objetivo de este estudio fue verificar las cualidades psicométricas del GAD-7. Método: Participaron 545 adultos de 18 a 76 años (M = 37; DT = 12,9). Se utilizó CFA para verificar la estructura interna. La puntuación GAD-7 se correlacionó con medidas externas. Finalmente, se compararon los promedios del grupo sin antecedentes de trastorno psiquiátrico (1) con personas con antecedentes de trastorno psiquiátrico (2). Resultados: La solución unifatorial resultó adecuada para esta muestra. GAD-7 mostró una correlación significativa, positiva y fuerte con la depresión y una medida general de salud mental y negativa con el bienestar. El grupo de personas con antecedentes de tratamiento psiquiátrico tuvo el promedio más alto. Conclusión: Los resultados de este estudio indican la adecuación psicométrica de GAD-7.
