Resumen
Introducción: Este estudio investigó la experiencia de hombres negros gays en la psicoterapia, considerando las interseccionalidades racial y sexual, con el objetivo de identificar los factores críticos que afectan la psicoterapia con este grupo. Metodología: Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo con entrevistas a cuatro hombres negros gays en Rondônia. Los datos fueron analizados mediante el Método Fenomenológico para identificar sentidos y estructuras comunes de experiencia. Resultados: Los resultados identificaron como factores críticos para la atención de este grupo: Perspectiva Interseccional Dinámica (PID); disonancia identitaria psicoterapéutica (DIP); Competencia Interseccional Psicoterapéutica (CIT); Insensibilidad Interseccional Psicoterapéutica (IIP). Conclusión: las intervenciones psicoterapéuticas atentas a estos factores críticos pueden contribuir a una mejor atención psicológica para hombres negros gays. Los psicoterapeutas deben estar preparados para abordar dinámicas interseccionales de las identidades, incluidas las relacionadas con el poder de las identidades no minoritarias, buscando una relación psicoterapéutica más productiva.
